Inpatient Diabetes & Glycemic Management (Non-ICU)
Hospital-Based | Maryland | Block Schedule
GlyCare is a hospital-based group practice specializing in inpatient diabetes and glycemic management. Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants deliver protocol-driven, evidence-based care to hospitalized adults on Med-Surg and Step-Down units (non-ICU), with endocrinology support.

Full-Time: Mon–Wed + every other weekend OR Wed–Fri + opposite weekends~16 shifts/month (52 fewer days than a Mon-Fri schedule)
Part-Time: Mon–Tues+ every other weekend OR Thur-Fri + opposite weekends~12 shifts/month with full benefits
Base pay: $62 -$70/hour base + monthly uncapped RVU bonuses

What You’ll Do
Provide consultative inpatient diabetes/glycemic management (non-ICU)
Independently round using established protocols
Manage ~25 patients/day (higher census up to 28–35)
Participate in rotating phone-only after-hours call (2 to 3 times per month)
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Maryland NP or PA license
NP: FNP, AGNP, or ACNP | PA-C
Inpatient experience required
EMR proficiency (Epic or similar)
New grads welcome
DEA not required
Minimum 1-year contract commitment
